IBAD AETA MANGO FARMERS IBAD, AGLAO, SAN MARCELINO, ZAMBALES PHILIPPINES
The PREDA Foundation supports the indigenous population, the AETAS, on the island of Luzon. Various fruit and vegetable seedlings are planted to provide for future generations. PREDA buys the entire mango harvest from the farmers and uses it to make various products that are sold in world shops around the world. In this way, they also finance the child protection centres where children and young people find a temporary home. The harvested fruit is also used for their own consumption and for sale on the local market.
