Many people plant trees. At home in the garden, in the forest, on trips, … Individually or in large numbers. We want to support and strengthen this, with the goal that globally, more trees will grow than disappear. Translated, that would be about 3 trees per person and year. To make us feel that we are not alone in this, that there are many people planting trees as a gift to the world, we want to make the connection between the trees – and the people who are committed to it – visible. For this, we have the interactive tree map, where everyone can add the newly planted trees. Join us and be part of the tree circle around the world!
How? Very simply:
Step 1) You plant one or more trees
Step 2) You bless the tree if you wish - for example with a song or a dedication
Step 3) You fill in our Form send us your photo – the story about the tree is also welcome
Step 4) Your tree photo will be posted here on our website* with information about the location
*Important note: Please make sure that all persons shown in the photo agree to its publication on the Internet.
If you are taking photos while planting trees (perhaps as part of an event), please ensure that all people consent to the publication of the photos. This can of course be done verbally – especially if you want to document it, the written form is recommended. For this, you can use, for example, these forms:
